General Health Warranty

Sweet Southern Doodles (seller) certifies and guarantees the puppy to be in sound health at the time of sale. Our warranty covers your puppy in the unfortunate event he/she is diagnosed with a congenital or genetic health issue that is life threatening or greatly diminishes his/her quality of life, with the first 2 years after birth. Puppy is guaranteed for 2 years from the date of birth to be free of any life threatening genetic disorders. Warranty does not include viral illnesses, infections (including internal and ear infections), improper bites, heart murmurs, hernias, or parasites. Minor health problems that can be cured by medication, such as coccidia, giardia, diarrhea, wormy stool, ear mites, external parasites, or other common problems are the responsibility of the buyer. No veterinary expenses will be reimbursed by Sweet Southern Doodles (seller) for any of the above listed conditions or any preventative medications

Buyer agrees to take puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 3 business days of purchase - at buyer's expense. If within that time period the puppy is declared to have a life-threatening condition by a licensed veterinarian, the full report and puppy must be returned. Upon receipt of written proof of such disorders from a licensed veterinarian and returning of the puppy to Sweet Southern Doodles (seller) within 3 days of diagnosis, Sweet Southern Doodles (seller) will provide a FULL REFUND or exchange the puppy as soon as one is available. Sweet Southern Doodles (seller) also retains the right to get a second opinion at our expense.

The buyer may elect to keep the puppy, in which case under no circumstances and at no time during the life of the canine will Sweet Southern Doodles (seller) pay or assist in paying any veterinary expenses, including but not limited to any such expenses directly or indirectly related to any inheritable/genetic defects.

Puppies will have received all appropriate shots and be dewormed before leaving our home. A copy of veterinary records will be sent with the buyer.

Buyer agrees to maintain this puppy in good health, provide routine preventative health care, including but not limited to inoculations, internal and external parasites, and preventative medications. Buyer agrees to provide fresh water and proper quality dog food in the correct amounts. Veterinarian records must be provided to Sweet Southern Doodles (seller) if buyer is requesting a refund or replacement puppy. If any of the above preventative care has not been provided, Health Guarantee will be rendered null and void.

Completing puppy vaccination series and annual booster shots are required. Failure to provide proper care and health management shall void this Health Guarantee. No guarantee is made on problems not detected by a licensed veterinarian.

Sweet Southern Doodles (seller) is not responsible for any accidents that happen after puppy leaves our possession.

Buyer understands there is no guarantee that Goldendoodles are completely hypoallergenic or non-shedding. While our puppies are low to non-shedding and friendly to those with allergies, no guarantees or refunds can be made based on shed levels or allergies. In addition, the size of the puppy at maturity cannot be guaranteed. Buyer also understands that the seller's prediction of adult weight, height, and coat type are estimates only.

Puppy is being sold as a pet only on a no breeding contract. Breeding rights will be given with approval only, and with an additional cost. Buyer has until the puppy reaches 6 months of age to provide written verification to Sweet Southern Doodles (seller) that spaying or neutering has been performed. If Sweet Southern Doodles (seller) has not received such verification prior to the first day of the 7th month of life, the health guarantee is forfeited and will be null and void. Proof of spay/neuter can be sent via mail or e-mail as long as it is an official copy and signed by the licensed veterinarian who performed it.
